PreXion’s article was published in the July issue of Dental Products Report, an American dental magazine

In the July issue of Dental Products Report, an American dental magazine, Rob Gochoel, Vice President of Sales at PreXion U.S., was interviewed and introduced the unique technologies and innovations of PreXion to reduce the amount of radiation patients are exposed to.

“Best quality, best clarity with the lowest radiation possible”

In recent years, there has been a growing demand for a large FOV (Field of View) that can see the airway for the purpose of treating sleep disorders. PreXion has developed in-house detector panel that is large enough to meet this need. Until now, in order to capture a large FOV using a conventional small panel, multiple scans had to be made and attached to a single image. With PreXion, however, it is now possible to capture a large FOV with a single scan using a panel developed by PreXion. The reduction in the number of scans and the consequent reduction in the scanning time has resulted in a significant reduction in the amount of radiation exposure.
In addition, by rotating the scanning part of the CBCT 360 degrees, the necessary data is captured from all directions, resulting in high-definition images.

After installing CBCT to a dental clinic, we also focus on positioning training so that customers can take a good image in one session. By positioning the patient properly and taking a good image only once, unnecessary radiation exposure can be avoided because there is no need to re-take the image.
